Stanley Weintraub, West Chester alum, prolific author, and founder (with his wife Rodelle) of the
Rodelle and Stanley Weintraub Center for the Study of the Arts and Humanities, is celebrating his 80th birthday, the 60th anniversary of his graduation from West Chester State College in 1949, and the publication of his newest book,
General Sherman's Christmas: Savannah 1864.
To celebrate Professor Weintraub's life and the publication of his newest book, there is currently an exhibit on the 2nd floor of FHG Library, just outside the elevators. The exhibit will run until December 11, 2009, and features books, photographs, reviews, and other information about the Professor Weintraub and his work. Please stop by and take a look!
