Ever wonder what’s behind the closed doors of Special Collections? You know which ones we’re talking about, that room on the 6th floor that looks so pretty but you are nervous to go into?
This past month, participants of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) were invited to take a closer look at a group of particularly valuable items: the Shakespeare Folios. The event was a great success, and it provided an opportunity for Wendy Rosenfield, a writer and KCACTF participant, to discover some of our treasures. She has since written a brief piece on the festival and the Folios. The article can be read on the Philadelphia Inquirer’s website, philly.com: http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/240329422.html.
To explore some of Special Collections’ treasures yourself, visit the 6th floor of FHG Library, you never know what you might find!
